To consider: La Tigra is situated at about 6,000 ft above sea level. This 3-mile hiking trip to “La Cascada” is considered a “Very Difficult” hike. The distance, terrain, and altitude gain make it very challenging, but it will be worth it. Although the majority of people finish the trail with no problems, we don’t recommend this trail if you have heart, back, or joint problems or if you are pregnant. There are shorter and smoother trails in the park that we can recommend. We are not capable to give medical recommendations so please consult with your doctor
