“The entire trip was exhilarating. So many memorable events such as zip lining through the rainforest, climbing mayan ruins, jumping off waterfalls, etc. Honduras is such an hidden treasure I'm surprised there aren't more tourists. The most memorable experience was after a hike through the rainforest and snacking on some termites (they taste like carrots!) was having the most restorative sleep I've ever had in a hammock and waking up to a macaw right beside me.”

“My travel experience with Gerardo was fantastic and memorable in Honduras. I thought our trip was unique and fun: from hiking around Mayan ruins, to ziplining in the rainforest and snorkeling off Rotan. 

The food was incredible. I still fondly remember one of the best meals of my life was served nearby the Mayan ruins. The variety and depth of home cooked flavors would have made any foodie jealous that their grandma hadn't made meals like this growing up.

I am very safety conscious and Gerardo always had planned out everything, from meeting at the airport to traveling inbetween towns. I recommend anyone do their research about how to travel, but at least you can feel secure that Gerardo has done a great job setting up this trip.
